Terms and Conditions * Please read these terms and conditions carefully before accepting the services offered by Caitlin Stinnette, a TAFE student dog groomer, operating a mobile dog grooming salon. By booking my services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions: 1. Scope of Services: - The Groomer will provide mobile dog grooming services at the location specified by the client. - Services may include bathing, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other grooming services as requested by the client. 2. Booking and Payment: - Clients must book grooming appointments in advance with a 50% non-refundable deposit through bank transfer. - This is to minimise financial loss which can occur with cancellations. Balance of payment is due at the time of service. - In case of rescheduling, please get in touch with the groomer as soon as possible. You will be able to reschedule with your deposit. - I accept cash, credit/debit cards (tap only) and bank transfers. Card has a 1.1% fee. 3. Client Responsibilities: - Clients must provide a suitable location for grooming, such as in the backyard undercover with an available powerpoint for my pet hair dryer. - Also, an area for bathing is required, such as a hose outside, bath or laundry sink. - Clients must ensure their pet is available and ready for grooming at the scheduled time. - Clients must disclose any health or behavioural issues concerning their pet before arriving at the grooming session. This is so I can be prepared and do any prior research required. - The client understands if the dog has any matting, there is an additional cost of $10 for every extra 15 minutes spent removing mats through brushing or clipping. - If there are behavioural issues that increase the time it takes to complete the groom, there is an additional cost of $10 for every extra 15 minutes for careful handling. - If matting is severe the dog may have to have the specific area or body shaved closer to the skin than originally anticipated. - The client understands the prices are set at student introductory prices and can increase in future. 4. Pet Health and Safety: - The Groomer reserves the right to refuse service to any pet deemed to pose a risk to the safety of the Groomer or the pet itself. - Clients must ensure that their pet is up-to-date on vaccinations and free from contagious illnesses. Includes monthly flea and worming tablets for protecting all clients. The client needs to show the yearly updated vaccination certificate. - The Groomer will not be held liable for any pre-existing health conditions aggravated during the grooming process. 5. Liability: - While the utmost care will be taken during grooming, accidents can occasionally occur. The Groomer has first aid on hand in case of any cuts that can happen accidentally by scissors, nail clippers or the trimmer. - The groomer also has public liability and professional indemnity insurance in case any serious accidents may happen to cover vet costs. - Clients are responsible for any damages or injuries caused by their pet to the Groomer or their property during the grooming session. 6. Client Satisfaction: - As a student dog groomer, I am committed to providing grooming services at the highest standard possible. - However, I acknowledge that my level of expertise may not yet match that of a seasoned professional, which is reflected in my lower pricing. - Rest assured, I will diligently apply my skills and knowledge to ensure the best possible outcome for your pet's grooming session. Your understanding and patience as I continue to refine my craft are greatly appreciated. - The Groomer strives for client satisfaction. If a client is dissatisfied with the grooming service, they must notify the Groomer immediately after completion of the service. The Groomer will offer to rectify any issues as best as possible at no additional cost. 7. Consent for Photography: - The Groomer may take photographs of the pet before, during, or after grooming for promotional purposes. - By availing of my services, clients consent to the use of such photographs for my website and social media. 8.
